“It's a good song. I especially like the lifts into the chorus and the ending!”
— Dennis Dunaway - Alice Cooper
Savannah, GA hard rocker’s LINDSY SAYS released their first video for their upcoming debut single, “Hold On Me” .
LINDSY SAYS, the brainchild of frontman Jared Matthew, initially came together in 2015 and last year morphed into their current lineup (consisting of guitarist, Dustin Kiernan, bassist, Zack Joy, and drummer, Jonathan Parker).
“Hold On Me” comes from the band’s self titled debut album produced by Rusty Wilmot in Orlando, FL which is due out later this summer. These East Coast sleaze party rock masters evenly balance all ten songs between old school melodic metal and new modern rock, with a focus on strong vocal performance laced with infectious melodies. “We are all big fans of the 80s and respect what was created in that time period, but we do not say we are an 80 s band – we are straight ahead rock n roll. At the end of the day music is music and we just want to rock with everyone,” says Jared. With melodic or arena rock, or whatever you may call it, is on a slow and steady climb back into the hearts (and ears) of music lovers across the globe... the future looks bright for those raised on 80's hard rock chart toppers such as Poison, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard and the like, albeit with a modern twist. Bridging the gap, to make an unbreakable connection with old and new audiences alike, their energy is unmatched on stage!
LINDSY SAYS rebooted their LIVE show in 2017 by opening slots for the likes of national touring bands like Hawthorne Heights, Saving Abel, and Hed PE (to name a few) and now in 2018 are looking to hit the road this summer to support their amazing smash release with tours all over the southeast region.
LINDSY SAYS may have just arrived at the party but, as we all know, it's those that came through the door "fashionable late" that demand the most attention. Sit back and watch these southerners knock you on your ass!
